Ingredients:
- 2 Tbs granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp coarsely-ground Black Pepper
- 2 Tbs crushed Ginger*
- 2 Tbs minced Garlic
- ½ cup freshly-squeezed Lemon juice
- 2 Tbs Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbs Cooking Oil, Olive/Canola Oil blend is recommended
Preparation:
- Combine the sugar and black pepper in a deep bowl.
- Add the crushed ginger, minced garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce and cooking oil to the bowl and whisk the marinade together.
- Pour some of the marinade into the container for the beef, add the beef and balance of the marinade to the container, cover and marinate the beef for 8 hours.
- Drain the beef from the marinade before grilling it.
- Baste the beef with the marinade while grilling for maximum flavor.

- Crushed ginger is sold in jars in Middle Eastern, Indian and Asian grocers and supermarkets and on-line.
