A Moesha Cocktail is a tasty, tempting drink with tangy-sweet tangelo juice as its main component. Tangelo trees are very heavy producers of fruit; we have a pair in our garden. What better way to enjoy tangelo juice than in this Moesha Cocktail which is as lovely and elegant as its namesake.
Prep Time: 2 minutes, Total Time: 5 minutes. Yields 2 large or 4 small cocktails.
Ingredients:
- 3 oz freshly-squeezed Tangelo Juice
- 2 oz Peach Brandy
- 4 oz Citrus Vodka
- Crushed Ice
- 4 Tbs frozen Blueberries
Preparation:
- Pour the tangelo juice, peach brandy, and citrus vodka in a cocktail shaker with crushed ice.
- Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- Place 1 tablespoon each of frozen blueberries in a martini glass for small cocktails; use two tablespoons of blueberries for large cocktails.
- Using a strainer, pour the cocktail from the shaker into the cocktail glass over the blueberries.
Note:
- The frozen blueberries will act like ice cubes and keep this cocktail nice and cold.
