Lemon Soy Marinade for Beef

Lemon Soy Marinade for Beef

  • 2 Tbs granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp coarsely-ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbs crushed Ginger*
  • 2 Tbs minced Garlic
  • ½ cup freshly-squeezed Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbs Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbs Cooking Oil, Olive/Canola Oil blend is recommended


  1. Combine the sugar and black pepper in a deep bowl.
  2. Add the crushed ginger, minced garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce and cooking oil to the bowl and whisk the marinade together.
  3. Pour some of the marinade into the container for the beef, add the beef and balance of the marinade to the container, cover and marinate the beef for 8 hours.
  4. Drain the beef from the marinade before grilling it.
  5. Baste the beef with the marinade while grilling for maximum flavor.
